Balance Bike Classes Are Back in 2026! 🚴‍♂️✨
Get ready to ride! Our Clancy Briggs Balance Bike Classes return on Saturday 28th February 2026 at the Doncaster Dome Cycle Track, and we can’t wait to help more youngsters fall in love with life on two wheels!
Whether your little one is taking their very first bike steps or building confidence ahead of pedalling, our Balance classes offer a fun, supportive environment where kids can grow, learn, and make new friends.

đź‘¶ Who Are the Classes For?
Our BALANCE bike class is perfect for children aged 18 months to 7 years. If your child is older but still using stabilisers, we also offer tailored 1:1 accelerate sessions to fast-track their confidence and get them riding free-wheel!
🚲 Why Start on a Balance Bike?
Balance bikes make learning to ride a bike simpler and more enjoyable. Rather than juggling pedals, steering, and balance all at once, children focus first on mastering balance and steering. Once they’ve got that foundation, pedalling becomes far easier — and confidence grows quickly.

Cycling isn’t just a skill — it’s a powerful way for children to boost their health, confidence, and happiness. 🎉 What Happens in a Lesson
Each session is carefully structured so kids make real progress week after week:
- Off-bike games to develop gross motor skills and balance
- On-bike practice with gliding, steering, and confidence-building activities
- Social learning where children encourage one another and make friends along the way
Our aim is always to help them feel safe, supported, and excited to learn — with lots of smiles along the way!
👨‍👩‍👧 Parental Involvement
We encourage parents to cheer their riders on — early encouragement can boost confidence hugely. As your child improves, you’ll see them start to glide further, balance longer, and pedal with growing assurance.

Once your child is confidently balancing and steering, they’ll be ready to progress into our PEDAL classes, where they’ll take their cycling to the next stage and earn their very own Medal for Pedals!
