October Half Term Doncaster Skills Camp
Returning for the first time this year in the October half term we’ll once again be running a cycling coaching session in Doncaster for keen young bike riders.
Taking place at the (wonderful) purpose-built Doncaster Dome cycle track on Wednesday 25th October 13:30 – 16:00.
The session is aimed at youngsters aged 6-16 & focuses on developing MTB cycling skills & having loads of fun on bikes. Our expert coaches will guide riders through a series of skills workshops. We’ll focus on things like slow bike control, gear selection for hills, how to maintain control while descending & much more. Our coaches will use our mini ramps and skills equipment to create courses to ensure riders are challenged and engaged throughout the day.
Academy founder Graham Briggs said this when asked about the Doncaster Skills Camp “I’m really excited that we’re back running a holiday camp in Doncaster. You don’t have to be a cyclist to enjoy our camps, if you enjoy riding your bike, like learning new skills like small drops & jumps then it’ll be a fantastic session. We’re all about engaging youngsters to ride their bikes & showing them how much fun bike riding can be. As an added bonus. Practicing these “fun” skills can really help turn youngsters into confident, safe cyclists.”
Required ability/skills: Riders must be able to ride unaided, starting and stopping confidently with control.
5. Suncream (just in-case)
6. Warm clothing, including gloves & waterproofs.
Our Doncaster skills camp costs £30/pp. Wednesday 25th 13:30 - 16:00 - https://www.clancybriggs.co.uk/academy/book-class/64f5c3167beac13300c967bb
